Kirk founded the youth activist group “Turning Point USA” and had become a fixture on college campuses. Charlie Kirk, a husband and father of two children, was 31 years old.

BREAKING: The No. 27 and 28 entries from Andretti Global, and the No. 90 from PREMA Racing have been moved to the rear of the Indianapolis 500 field after failing post-race technical inspection. All three cars have been re-ordered based on their unofficial finishing positions.

Additionally, each car has been fined $100,000, and the team/competition managers for the three entries have been suspended for one race, to be served at the next event on the Streets of Detroit.
