Buidlpad x Solayer Community Sale – A New Milestone

After a week of non-stop grinding by the Buidlpad engineers, we've officially hit a new milestone by completing our first-ever Community Sale with Solayer. Both @solayer_labs and Buidlpad are humbled by the overwhelming support from the community. We saw over 200K registrations, with a total subscription of $57M, oversubscribed by 5.5 times, with more than 35K users from 151 countries joining in.

Reminiscence of Good Old Days

The sale has stirred significant buzz, becoming a trending topic on X last week. It brought back memories of the classic ICO and IEO days, with that familiar FOMO vibe as profits are within reach again. Solayer's offering at $350 million FDV, with no vesting requirements, has certainly caught eyes, making it a great pick for retail investors. We're grateful for the opportunity Solayer provided us as a new platform; they're a fantastic, long-term driven team, and we highly recommend joining their community.

War with Sybils

To live up to your trust, we've strived to be fair, inclusive, and transparent. Initially, we had a fixed subscription limit with a first-come-first-serve mechanism, but due to massive demand, we ditched what would have made users compete on speed and adopted a fairer mechanism that ensures wider participation for our genuine community members instead of having the allocation sniped by bots and sophisticated setups.
We've implemented strict anti-bot measures, spending 72 hours straight just on detecting them and filtering. We successfully identified over 40K eligible participants, filtering out 80% of accounts. This led to some attacks on our platforms by some of the farms, which was stressful, but we were heartened by the community's support in standing with us against these challenges.
