I believe the reason behind the release of the lead single this year and the album next year is not based off the critical + comercial failure of Joker 2, this next album is totally fresh and Gaga did indeed experiment with new sounds anf mostly she's playing with her voice a lot

i don't have any significant updates regarding her comeback or say "imminent date".
they tried pushing back her work as they're all used to but i won't revoke around this. i hope that whether she decides to do it this won't affect the rest of the era or take away anything.

Lady Gaga has been intensely working on the visuals + artistic part of her upcoming album. She has already done several shoots btw. Shortly, filming a music video (i'd say she's at it now).
