It will forever be a stain on our country's history that we were on the wrong side of the Russia-Ukraine war when it mattered most.

Last month, we promised Ukraine the ability to produce Patriot interceptors themselves. That was walked back for some reason.

Aid packages to Ukraine — even weapons & funding already approved by Congress before this administration — have slowed to nearly a halt.

You'd think the least we could do is let them use Starlink to hit the launchers hitting them. Instead, Elon Musk is blocking them from doing so — even for military targets, even as the interceptors they desperately need run out.

Zelenskyy tried to set up a meeting with Trump and Elon on his most recent trip to the US. Elon refused.

In an Economist interview last month, Elon said the war can only end "through concessions to Moscow." That's backwards. Russia has never negotiated in good faith. Putin only comes to the table when losing costs him more than the war does. Cutting off Ukraine's ability to strike back doesn't bring peace closer; it removes the only pressure that ever would.

The United States is simply not putting any real pressure on Putin to end this war. For the life of me, I'll never understand why.

Today in the Odesa region, the Russians once again destroyed an ordinary passenger train locomotive with a jet-powered drone. There were 340 people on the train. And whoever was operating that drone certainly could not have been unaware that the target was entirely civilian. As of now, unfortunately, we know that the locomotive engineer and his assistant were killed in the strike. My condolences to their families and loved ones. There were also strikes overnight in 11 regions – the Russians used more than 130 attack drones.

Every day, the Russians strike ordinary people’s lives simply for the sake of terror. And unfortunately, far from every such attack receives a strong response from the world. More air defense support and more pressure on Russia are needed if the world is serious about stopping this war in Europe.

This year, we have two and a half times fewer interceptors than we had in 2025. Russia has two times more ballistic missiles per month than they had before. We pay 100% to the Americans for ballistic missiles. We get the package from the U.S. and then comes my personal involvement. It doesn't work the other way. It's my personal talks, meetings and phone calls each day. I try to exchange something for missiles.

I'm asking American partners to sell 5% of the missiles they have in stock. If the Americans sell us 5% – PAC-3 interceptors, nothing else – we will go through the winter and save people's lives. If they can sell us 10%, we will destroy all the Russians' ballistic missiles. As of today, I have 1%.

The UN has confirmed 129 executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war by Russian forces since 2022, including cases where detainees were no longer taking part in combat.

From November 2025 to January 2026 alone, 37 executions were documented in 18 separate incidents. Almost all released prisoners reported torture and ill-treatment, and cases of sexual violence were also recorded.

The report also details human rights violations in the temporarily occupied territories, including arbitrary detention, forced mobilization, and the imposition of Russian education systems.

Someone looked through an FPV drone camera, saw an elderly woman in a wheelchair, and decided to kill her.

An 87-year-old woman and her son were killed by a Russian FPV drone in Nikopol. Police are still working to identify a third victim.
