Nepal has opened up!
This news brought such joy to the children, who would finally be returning home after months of delay since being rescued. Tears of joy greeted them, and they walked hand in hand to their home where they shared their stories after being gone so long.
Photos say more than words!.
The photo gallery on the NGN website is our way of sharing a child's joy of being rescued and reunified with their families as well as the pain and suffering a child experiences when trafficked. NGN updates the gallery often!

Along with checking on the welfare of recently reintegrated children, our monitoring officers take time to sit and talk to members of the community about the issues surrounding orphanage trafficking. We do this to engage entire villages in the ongoing fight against trafficking.
Life in NGN's transit home during these pandemic times:
The children work on their schoolwork assignments while one of NGN's brilliant tutors watches over them ready to help if they get stuck on something.
Currently, the situation in Nepal is still very uncertain. Cases are rising every day.
Meanwhile, the children who are staying in our transit home under the watchful eye of our talented staff, are doing their best to live a normal life until they can go home.
One of the 76 families whose children we have rescued & returned home needed a helping hand during these difficult times. NGN has been able to get in touch with a shopkeeper near their house and provide the family with basic food essentials before they run out.
Snapshots is NGN's overview of all the work we have been doing. Our most recent issue is about the impact of the current pandemic on Nepal and NGN's work there. If you could take a minute to read this and even share it we would appreciate it.

As the lockdown drags on in Nepal the children at our Transit Home are finding new and creative ways to spend their time- from making art to playing outside in the courtyard. To keep everyone safe our team of Reintegration Officers has been chatting with them often online.
