Mashan No.1 Tomb马山一号墓of the Chu kingdom is the tomb from China’s Warring States period that has yielded the largest and most intact collection of silk artifacts.
Most of the reconstructed Warring States-period Hanfu relies heavily on findings from this tomb.
It is acclaimed as a treasure trove of silk culture from the Warring States period.
There is strong cultural and aesthetic continuity, as well as great consistency in clothing forms, between this tomb and the Mawangdui Han Tombs马王堆汉墓, which also produced a vast quantity of silk artifacts.
