Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have rescued 92 civilians abducted by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists along the Buratai–Kamuya road in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State.
The military said the operation led to the recovery of eight vehicles and the successful detonation of three improvised explosive devices planted by fleeing insurgents during the pursuit.
According to the Army, the rescued victims included 52 men, 33 women, and seven children, while no casualties were recorded among troops involved in the operation.
