replying in this thread just made me realize i’ve been sitting on this article written about me after i graduated my coding bootcamp 😶🌫️
re-reading it really puts in perspective how far i’ve come on this journey into tech & solidifies that i’m still happy that i made the pivot 😌
@willjohnsonio after i graduated the bootcamp, i was lucky enough to have an article written about my journey so this gives some insight to my journey too!

care made visible
the countless of hours the team spent
designing,
reviewing,
testing,
to build the things you can see
and the things you can’t even see
but you can feel it
you can only build something like Forward
when you have a group of amazing people
caring about the same thing
to everyone at @resend
i’m talking to you
i’m super proud
i’m super thankful
to have this opportunity to build this with you
we all know how crazy it was
but once again
we made it
We built our own email infrastructure from scratch.

I’m just so proud of this team!
The resounding feedback from guests was that they felt so much care in the seemingly unimportant details.
But what stood out to me the most were the things truly no one saw. The kind vendor emails, the trash cleanup behind the scenes, and the ways teams shared gratitude to each other.
Competency can be paired with kindness, and this team demonstrated that so beautifully!
Your job is to eat the pain.
@aarondfrancis taught us all that pain doesn't disappear. Someone eats the pain. The questions is "Who will eat it? You or your customer?"
Or as Aaron put it, "Be the sin eater."
Overwhelmed, overjoyed, humbled, grateful for the reception of this message
It’s as much of my story as it is yours. We are problem solvers at heart. What’s ahead of us may be unknown but we stare into it together
Congrats to @resend and @_christinacodes on a wonderful conference
Thank you for an incredible day at Resend Forward!
We're honored to have been able to gather such a thoughtful group of people. Thanks for exploring crafting high-quality software with us.
We hope to see the conversations and relationships started today continue on.
Some people make all the hard things worth it. 🖤
Here’s to @_christinacodes, who I’ve worked with across two different companies for almost 10 years.
Christina, thanks for making Resend Forward so special for so many people.
I'm conducting a funeral for the software engineer next week at @resend Forward in SF
there will be a casket
I have one community ticket to give away from @muxhq
send me your best wishes, tribute, flowers, or prose for the deceased and maybe you'll get the ticket
We also announced Forge at Resend Forward.
Forge is our own infrastructure for sending emails, from the mail servers down to the IP blocks.
It gives us more control to get your emails where they need to go.

“if coding wasn’t hard we wouldn’t be grieving it”
this talk was truly a spiritual experience 😮💨🙏🏾 from the way Dave delivered every line to the visuals around the auditorium…
it was all such an amazing experience to witness 🔥
