Two days after celebrating his birthday, Seyifunmi marked the occasion in style with a world-class finish against Cohesion FA.
We caught up with him after the match to discuss the goal, the victory, and what lies ahead.

I later saw @AkorjeromeAdams . He recognized me. And he apologized. He didn’t hear me. He didn’t mean to snub me.
The spotlight is indeed not easy. I know he most likely didn’t hear. The noise. It’s crazy.
At this level of stardom, you can’t talk to everyone. It’s the truth.
Much respect @AkorjeromeAdams
❤️
The kind words you said to me meant a lot to me and uplifted my spirits.
Love you forever.
Meeting you was a dream come true. ❤️❤️
Apologies for my unreasonable tweets. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. Deleting them. 💪🏽
I have seen a lot of talented players ruin their career because of bad attitude especially when they start making money and that applies to all race.
I have a friend from one of the East African countries and he was a national team player who had played on a big stage both home and abroad.
It was around the same time we meet in Sweden, we lived in the same town and we spend time together at his place because he had a better apartment than me so him, his wife and kids lived together.
After getting a good contract he changed both to me and his wife and every time during the international break matches he will stay longer than expected while the wife and kids remain at home alone. A lot of people reached out to the wife to report my friend who is not even listening to anyone at that moment.
After couple of months into his new contract he got injured and it was a big one that will keep him out for like 6months and that's when everything fell apart for him because he struggled to gain everyone trusts after misbehaving for months.
When he was fit again the club asked him to leave because his level dropped a lot and the wife that will help him also left him with their kids because his attitude towards her and kids was very bad.
The money that made him misbehaved, is not coming in anymore since the club terminated his contract and he was unable to get back on the level he used to play. My friend lost everything both his family and career and he now works with Vodafone as a phone seller.
