Love Kimetsu no Yaiba, Fire Punch, Tenkaichi, Kengan Ashura, Strike it Rich, Blue Ursus, Witch Hat Atelier, and Centuria. Succubus & Hitman is a guilty pleasure
Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity castle pt 1 covers chapters 140 through 157 and it’s 155 minutes long. 155 minutes for 18 chapters = 8.6 minutes per chapter. 48 remaining chapters times 8.6 = 413 remaining minutes. Can they fit the rest into 2 films? #鬼滅の刃#kimetsunoyaiba#kny
@ybnl_guzman@DiscussingFilm You need to study directors more. Fans of Japanese media who only watch Anime and have no idea who Hirokazu Koreeda is are everything that’s wrong with this site today. Shoplifters, Our Little Sister, Monster..He’s literally made some of the best Japanese films I’ve watched.
@LPZ7K@GammaEaglit This poster made 13 tweets praising the game. Then they make this one tweet criticizing it and proceed to get responses like yours. And the irony is you’re asking them to form their own opinions. You guys act like a brainwashed cult honestly.
@Swaghiliii@Evileye515_@JAGWithASnail I personally like Persona 4’s story more than 5 or 3, but to each their own. It’s very simple but the character dynamics always felt more grounded, and the side cast is probably the best in the series.
@swiftjay9367590@ScrambledFaz@moonlightweek I’m a 1992 born so there’s a good chance we’re close to the same age. These were the games I played growing up. I was around 16 when Persona 4 came out
@BambamPewpew32@bandzmufc@ScrambledFaz@moonlightweek No one ever thinks that. They feel that. They feel better about their likes and interests based on a famous person also liking it. Why else does celebrity worship exist? Why else do people obsess over celebrities sharing hobbies with ourselves?
@ScrambledFaz@moonlightweek And I’ve been a fan since 2007 in the PS2 era? But who has been a fan for how long doesn’t matter. Thats another form of validation. I just have zero interest in whether a millionaire celebrity likes the same media I do. It’s the same as people caring what anime celebrities like
@bandzmufc@ScrambledFaz@moonlightweek That’s exactly what validation is though? “This celebrity likes a popular piece of media that I like so I feel a parasocial connection through that and feel better about my hobby.” Thats why you think that it’s cool. You are feeling validated now.
@weebier265225@ScrambledFaz@moonlightweek That part you mentioned about it being “nice” is the validation though? “This famous person likes what I like so I feel a parasocial connection.” Thats what validation is.
@ScrambledFaz@moonlightweek Caring about celebrities enjoying the same content that you do is shallow. I’ll never understand how people feel the need to validate being a fan of something through a celebrity also liking it. I just enjoy what I like and have zero interest whether a celebrity likes it too.
@OldMappleKing@AUTOMATON_ENG The overall message or view of death may not be depressing but the journey there is not exactly the happy and optimistic journey that you see in other Shonen. Many large series elect to either not kill off the majority of their cast and go for fake out deaths. KNY is different.
@OldMappleKing@AUTOMATON_ENG Kimetsu no Yaiba is pretty depressing though? Especially the final chapters that the remaining films have yet to cover when basically half the cast dies and Tanjiro is implied to not live past 25.
Sure there is the hopefulness in the flash forward to the modern world but still..
@_IggyThe_Fool_@MangaMoguraRE I don’t think a complete “downfall” of AI is coming but it is definitely overvalued and in a bubble right now. Expect it to still be around in the decades to come but like this post says, much more controlled and limited by copyright permissions and union restrictions.
Kimetsu no Yaiba still in top 10 WTF, it will probably end up at the #5 highest selling manga of all time by the time all the movies are done. I say it might pass Dragon Ball in the rankings but stop there. #kny#kimetsunoyaiba
