NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo recalls outpouring of help that arrived in New York City after 9/11 attacks: "Nobody asked—they just showed up!"

This virus is not an issue of states’ rights.
This is a national disaster.
The states need federal assistance. No state can get all the ventilators they need.
We need a national deployment of resources that follows need.
“It’s supposed to be OUR stockpile”?
“It’s not supposed to be the states’ that they then use.”
I hope by “our stockpile”, he means “the country’s stockpile”, and if the states don’t use the country’s stockpile, who does?
A frontline doctor at a major NYC hospital told me he lost his first patient this morning to rationing of care — not enough ventilators to go around. The lack of supplies and testing is real — and costing lives — no matter what the daily reality show tries to sell you.
Just used @Vote4DC iPhone app to request ballots by mail for DC's June primary and Nov general elections. Super easy...less than 5 mins to download app and complete form. Thanks DC Board of Elections for making voting safe, secure and easy! #QuarentineLife#VoteByMail

#COVID19 will still be here in November.

Many, but not all, currently can. WE HAVE TO FIGHT FOR THIS. #NovemberIsComing.
The ⏰ is ticking. #DemCast
Dr. Rishi Desai: American hero.
He went on Fox News tonight & spoke truth to their viewers — giving hard facts a/b the shortage of testing & the unforgivably slow response to this #COVID19Pandemic from the Trump admin.
“Hope you’ll come back.”
Sure, Jan
So society’s *real* key workers have just been revealed.
Not the bankers. Not the traders. Not the elite hedge fund managers.
It’s the nurses. The doctors. The delivery drivers. The carers. The porters. The teachers. The shelf stackers. The check out staff.
#COVID19
WOW.
Soon after he offered public assurances that the government was ready to battle coronavirus, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr sold off between $582,029 and $1.56 million of his holdings on Feb. 13 in 29 separate transactions.

@AhmedBaba_@JoshuaPotash@OANN Agreed. But why are you giving an audience to this lunatic? We need to decrease this kind of media exposure on social media, not increase it.
Our hospital floor is full and we need open beds for the imminent COVID surge.
But multiple patients of mine can’t leave the hospital because they’re awaiting prior auths from commercial insurers.
Insurance companies are clogging up the system in the middle of a damn pandemic.
