Steve Cooper: "He has made a real contribution with his positive outlook and work ethic. On behalf of everyone at Nottingham Forest, we wish him well for the future."

This guy massively bought into the Forest project. Underrated by the masses, but not by Reds fans.
That’s the RB position locked down and a rare piece of continuity!
Good start to the window 👏

20 years with your local club, played a huge part in preventing relegation to League 1 and then part of the squad promoted to the Prem
He may not have made it at the very top of the game (yet) but most #nffc fans and local kids would love that at 28
Good Luck👏

@Jonny90nffc Don’t think you will be too far wrong with that, maybe one of the young lads will be involved, would like to see more of Dale Taylor although probably off the bench
I have taken the decision to remove a tweet I made that was well intended but poorly worded on my part.
My reasoning is I feel it is upsetting people and despite putting an explanation in the thread people don’t read it & I can’t respond to everyone.

To clarify the majority comments it’s in relation to the possibly poorly worded “majority” understanding why Cooper would have been sacked.
In the modern game trigger happy sackings are part and parcel especial in the high stakes of the prem.
Just glad we are different!

I feel it’s a shame I have had to do this and it’s thankfully only a minority who have been abusive towards me. Those of you who have engaged with me before hopefully know I’m generally positive and respectful of all opinions.

@porchesterbus This tweet is ending up a nightmare, poorly worded on my part. Read the thread but in summary it is not in relation to any fan wanting him to go, more understanding if he did go despite the majority of us (me included) backing him. The tweet was praise for EM for not doing it.
@AO1865 I think up until MGW started to turn it on recently he was hands down our best signing of the summer regardless of transfer value. Think Scarpa will run him close now though 😉
@mallyslife_ I think Dyche could have softened the blow but all in all I think he made the correct decision in not only backing SC but extending his contract 👊
