I think this would actually be silly and not the best value for 3 turns but I also think playing “I’m not letting you sing ever” is very funny
T1 Olaf
T2 Toulouse (no actions)
T3 Toulouse sing ancient ways (no actions) + play 3 cost
T4 sing Strength, play Berlioz/replay Toulouse
@NeilandBradley Yeah reread the first sentence of the tweet I guess 🤷🏼♀️ never said it was good, just that it’s funny lol
I’d argue Toulouse is an incredibly good card though for the same reason Pete was good at many points in the meta. I’d 100% be playing Pete currently if I could
Open ink pairings also opens the door for shenanigans that I would very much like to partake in
Like playing a ruby steel deck and then SURPRISE it’s 0% control and 100% aggro
Open Ink Pairings in the highest level competitive events in Disney Lorcana is a good thing, imo
some ppl say this favors players who are better prepared to do something w the info and… yes, it does
That’s not a bad thing.
I saw someone use the word ‘equitable’…
@DestinyTrioInc They posted some new DLC updates, and it was something along the lines of open ink day 1 and open decklists day 2 (I am terrible at news reporting because I haven’t watched it but @LorcanaVillain posted something more useful lol)
I don't really mind that Worlds is private/exclusive to competitors (special for them) but last year RB said they were going to make sure it was open to everyone this time and then never followed up to say 'actually nevermind' lol
communication continues to need some improvement
Droids are an extremely solid choice for @DisneyLorcana set champs. Amber Amethyst and Amber Steel can be tough matchups but winnable. This deck has gotten 1st, 5th, and 2nd (and now I'm retiring it to play something silly)

@rovkirsten I did this EXACT same thing, I also chose to pass on nationals in the hopes of budgeting for Worlds 🥲 I really hope they’ll be transparent about it early on in S3
