The irony is the people who violate their visas in North America come from countries with the TOUGHEST penalties for illegal entries in the world, BECAUSE they know the game:

1. 🇮🇳 India - Up to 3 years imprisonment for illegal entry.

2. 🇸🇬 Singapore - Up to 6 months jail + mandatory caning (min. 3 strokes) for longer visa overstays.

3. 🇮🇩 Indonesia - Detention + deportation standard; recent law allows up to 20 years imprisonment in serious cases of illegal entry

4. 🇲🇾 Malaysia Up to 5 years imprisonment + possible whipping (caning).

5. 🇹🇭 Thailand Up to 2 years imprisonment possible + long entry bans (up to 10 years) + detention.

6. 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia Up to 6 months jail + heavy fines + deportation (sponsors can also face penalties).

7. 🇨🇳 China 5–15 days administrative detention common; longer holds + bans up to 10 years possible.
