I’ve been a little slow in getting round to sharing these on Twitter, but this past weekend we had the first in-person event for the book ‘Connections With Nature’, using the event space of @NotJustBooks_, Thetford. Amazing to bring people together in the name of nature! 🙏☺️
Harassment , relentless abuse , intimidation and now arson . And what next . . . ? I will not be cowed , I will not buckle , but can I ask for your help ? If you are an @nationaltrust member please sign to end hunting here and now .

Connections with Nature is out now! We’re so excited and proud to be included in this anthology about #nature and #wildlife.
A huge thank you goes out to @KateConsrvation and all contributors of the @wildlifeblogs for making this collection what it is.

@wildlifeblogs A6. Gosh, it's hard to know what would be my favourite, but this is probably my most personally meaningful post: https://t.co/8BOWWuK7wK
@wildlifeblogs This post by @KateConsrvation is one of the best examples of environmental journalism I have ever encountered. Thoroughly researched, totally engaging and utterly vital. Read it! https://t.co/TVmn0G4Vyk
@wildlifeblogs A5. It's starting to become that way for me. I used to post lots of past photos from my time in South Africa, to help illustrate the blog posts I was writing, but gradually, and certainly during lockdown, my instagram account is becoming more of a diary for my wildlife encounters
@wildlifeblogs A5. I don’t, but I think this could be a really therapeutic thing to do in many ways. It would encourage me to pay more attention to nature because I’d know I always have a place to reflect on it afterwards 💚
@wildlifeblogs A4. Above all else, be in the moment. I know its great to take wonderful photos - or even just snapshots on your phone, but also don't forget to be present. Using all of your senses to connect with nature can be so helpful to our wellbeing, as @Claireyeddy says. #wildlifematters
