Here are the 5 key points you need to know about Jupiter's upcoming Launchpad Vote:

1⃣ The LFG Process

Over 20 projects applied through the forum, with 6 reaching the candidacy stage so far — culminating in next week's DAO vote.

2⃣ The Vote

Each DAO member will choose their preferred candidate, with the top 2 becoming "approved" for launch.

Any project that is not selected will still be able participate in future votes.

3⃣ Alignment from Design

Moving the vote away from a binary yes/no fundamentally changes the type of decision made since there are only 2 slots per month.

Additionally, with the DAO receiving 0.75% of fees and a minimum vesting period of 3-6 months — voters are likely to choose what they think has long-term value.

4⃣ Role of the Core Work Group(CWG)

Instead of forcing the community to exhaustively evaluate each project from start to end, the CWG provides the DAO with high-density information.

This is achieved by facilitating projects through the introduction process all the way to their formal AMA.

As time moves on, this will become more of a collaboration as catdet feedback is continuously incorporated into the process.

5⃣ The LFG Ethos

The ethos of the LFG Launchpad is one of community co-creation and iteration.

At each stage, the open nature of the process ensures that information is shared freely between the projects, the Core Work Group, and the DAO — allowing feedback to reach the proper channels.
