@jheaps4 In conjunction, https://t.co/3hbfSoLr7x runs a passport stamp type of promotion. For example, once every game you get to add a “stamp” to a virtual passport app. If you watch all the games and collect all your stamps you can win.
@jheaps4 International Day
12 hours of exclusive-window games. 12am. 3pm. 6pm. 9pm EST. All games at interesting indoor neutral locations. Think Germany, Finland, Sweden, China, etc.
@jheaps4 Rivalry Night. All teams play one of their their natural rivals that night. Regional coverage on ESPN or TNT with tons of live look-ins and highlights from the other games. All 32 teams play at either 7 or 10 PM EST.
@Zone_NHL @Sneed26@NHL_On_TNT@espn@NHL I don't think this is true at all. In the 1990's, the NBA finals had games with over 30 million viewers. The NHL had 5 million or so for their best games.
@Zone_NHL @espn@NHL_On_TNT@NHL Game was over 10 minutes into the first period.
All the ratings tell me is that .258 million people in Florida watched, and so did 1 million that bet on the game.
@Zone_NHL @NHL_On_TNT@WBDSportsPR@BR_OpenIce@NHL Will we get to see the hour by hour ratings? I don’t expect much from the east coast at 2am. But hopefully up until midnight it was over 2M.
@Zone_NHL If the NHL wasn’t in these markets, we’d be left with 4 larger market teams and better TV ratings. Also, 100 of the worst players would still be in the AHL making the quality of play even better. And the AHL would put out a better product because they’d have 100 NHL players in it
@Zone_NHL The only series of the 8 that was clearly won by the better TV draw was Vegas over the Jets. You could argue all 7 others were detrimental to the US TV ratings.
