Your art legacy shouldn't have to depend on a company's pinning budget or platform decisions. Time to take back control and decentralize it!

A lot of people in this thread are rightly worried about what happens when these services go away. Others have already mentioned Pinata (great for easy pinning) and running your own local IPFS node. Both are good options worth exploring.

I've also been building something specifically for collectors and artists who want a dedicated, always-on setup: Vernis is an open-source IPFS node + beautiful display device. No subscriptions, no platform in the middle, just your collection preserved locally and displayed nicely.
