🥵 I made one mistake…

I changed my handle from @jpgpapiii to my current @OneAndOnlyPapii

I did it because i felt it was more clear for people to see a simple name like Papii and an @ that’s very straight forward and not get scammed as easy…

The mistake is that I forgot to lock up @jpgpapiii my old handle and a scammer swooped in and took it

Here is the flaw with twitter... if you change your handle and name... it changes in some places like historical comments but not in historical post tags

So the scammer is leveraging old trade posts and even personal stuff my wife @kaittymarie tagged me in to try to prove he’s legit

And in one example. The post she tagged me as @jpgpapiii but my comment updated to display as my current name and handle… so it looks sketch.

Anyway. Lesson learned, bothers me seeing people getting scammed and twitter is doing nothing about it.

This is their response from my last report 🚩🚩🚩 and because I have a pseudo name it’s even harder

Trying to find a solution, think I need to get lawyers on this asap so no one else gets hurt.

Please report and retweet so people don’t get scammed
