Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been a vocal supporter of crypto, particularly $BTC. He has said that he believes #Bitcoin is a "threat to the current regime" and that he would oppose any attempt by the government to ban it. #DeSantis has also said that he would like to see #Florida become a hub for #cryptocurrency innovation.

In March 2023, DeSantis signed a bill into law that prohibits the use of a federally controlled Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in Florida. The bill was seen as a way to protect Floridians from the potential risks of a #CBDC, such as surveillance and inflation.

Only time will tell what impact DeSantis's support for cryptocurrency will have. However, it is clear that he is one of the most vocal and visible supporters of the technology in the United States government.
