The dialogue was productive, centering on collaborative strategies to amplify the voices of young people in national youth policy. We discussed actionable pathways to protect our generation and create safer roads for all Nigerians
This week, ASPHI @ng_asphi1 had the honor of joining our fellow members of the Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety @ClaiminOurSpace in a pivotal bilateral meeting with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development Nigeria @fmydNG
ASPHI @ng_asphi1 was represented at the 3-Day International Road Crash Victims Africa Conference in Abuja. We’re proud to have been a part of the important conversation on road safety
Day 2 of the #CleanCampHeroes training was about #SOLUTIONS. We moved from problem to practice! The 3Rs in action: Reducing waste, Reusing creatively, and Recycling right. These young leaders are now equipped with the real skills to tackle the issue head-on.
#wastemanagement
A clean environment is the foundation of both physical and mental health. In displacement settings, improper waste management poses severe risks, from disease outbreaks to environmental degradation.
Because every clean camp is a safe camp for all and protects our mental health.
This project is being carried out by the Mental Health for Youths Initiative through partnership with: @fmyd_official @mihr_africa @ng_asphi1 and @minkasiinitiative
A clean environment is more than just aesthetics; it's a pillar of public health. We just wrapped up an incredible 3-day training with young leaders from Abuja's IDP communities, focusing on sustainable waste management.
We are thrilled to announce a powerful new partnership
Aid for Sustainable Public Health Initiative (ASPHI) is partnering with the Mental Health for Youth Initiative @mhyi_nigeria on a new project supported by the European Union!
#cleancampheroesproject#publichealth
Why does this matter? A clean environment means better health, stronger well-being, and a safer planet.
We’re turning public health challenges into opportunities for growth and leadership.
Through interactive activities, we demonstrated how young people can lead positive change in their communities. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating a generation of road safety champions #roadsafety#thenigeriawewant
ASPHI held an impactful road safety awareness event at the University of Abuja last Friday as part of our youth engagement project supported by the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund. We equipped students with knowledge and skills to become safety-conscious road users and advocates.
Our youth deserve safe roads, not hospital beds. Together, we can change the narrative and make road safety a public health priority.
