The theme for this year’s Labour Day celebration is “economic growth, political stability and job creation” and links directly to the policy priorities articulated in the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda. Atwoli’s message to Raila Odinga on Labour Day: “Don't be like some of us who lose loved ones, and expect that they will wake up. Accept that you lost this election...or else you will get into stress, depression and ultimately sudden death.”
“Maandamano has no endgame” -Francis Atwoli.
I hope Raila Odinga listened to nothing but great wisdom from Dr @AtwoliDza during his address of the Nation on the need for political stability. Some things, like election of H.E Dr William Ruto, are irreversible. Akin to stopping the sun from moving from the East to the West. Again, PCS Dr @MusaliaMudavadi called it 'a powerful message' and I agree. 'Time to close ranks' and move on as a country! #LabourDay

@GeoffreyKaituko Blessed day, Ndugu Katibu. As you strive to inculcate values of decent work in employers, may this be a day that workers will remember in days to come.
