This morning, during a High-Level Breakfast held on the margins of the #AUSummit, and graced by President @JDMahama we officially unveiled the Gender, Youth and Mainstreaming Framework.
The launch of this framework marks an important step forward in ensuring that gender equality and youth inclusion are not treated as side conversations but as central pillars of policy, financing, and implementation across the continent.
Mainstreaming is not symbolic. It is structural. It means embedding gender and youth priorities into planning, budgeting, governance systems, and accountability mechanisms, from continental strategies to national delivery frameworks.
At a time when financing models are being rethought and development priorities are shifting, this framework provides a clear guide for ensuring that women and young people are not left at the margins of economic transformation, climate resilience, digital innovation, and social development.
Sustainable impact requires inclusive systems. The Gender, Youth and Mainstreaming Framework sets the foundation for moving from commitment to coordinated action.

This morning, we will be participating in a High-Level Dialogue on “Rethinking Financing Models for Africa – From Aid to Impact” on the margins of the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa.
As global donor priorities shift, Africa must accelerate the transition from dependency-driven models to sustainable, impact-oriented financing.
This closed forum brings together senior leaders to explore innovative financing pathways that protect momentum in:
• Health and education
• Gender equality and social inclusion
• Climate resilience and sustainability
• Digital governance and innovation
• Peaceful and inclusive societies
Sustainable impact requires bold partnerships, policy alignment, and African-led solutions.

Sometimes you just get deflated when dealing with this government man. It's heavy...everything!
Takes a toll on you but you must always find a way deep within yourself to say, tomorrow we'll have a chance. And we'll fix this country. Don't lose hope.
