There is a recent trend in JavaScript frameworks to enforce SoC(separation of concern) between frontend and backend in the expense of increasing complexity(and build time, which is solved by even more tools). All these efforts just to avoid using PHP? Trend is a cycle indeed.

I rather hire a backend OR frontend-focus, single platform, single language experience #developer than a self-proclaimed "FuLL-sTaCk" "SeNiOr" "EnGinEer". Those keywords have been increasingly becoming a ❗️red flag❗️ to me in the #tech #hiring space.

In web development, tools and frameworks come and go, but HTML & CSS are here to stay. Learn your fundamentals right, and you will be more resilient to changes in the tech scene.

TIL an Excel file is actually a zip file containing a bunch of XML files. Just rename a .xlsx file extension to .zip and you can extract(unzip) it to reveal the .xml files in it. 🤯
