My brief reflections from #ngm2019 (& also referring to #futuresconference2019, @LevPoints4Sust & @CEMUSUPPSALA) Hanging out knowing - how do conferences see 'knowledge'? What knowledges are unseen, what questions are unasked, what voices are unheard? https://t.co/mGmd7cCjkM
Leaving the beautiful city of Trondheim after the @Ngm2019 - look forward to returning. (PSA - a pint really truly does cost the equivalent of a sit down meal & your bus ticket home!)
Organizing the 8th Nordic Geographers Meeting @Ngm2019 has been a superb experience. Great colleagues, amazing group of volunteers and over 600 wonderful participants from all over the world = a very smooth and successful conference.
On my way home from inspiring @Ngm2019 one of the best moments: @HRefstie chairing #protestpub and Michael Jones encouraging us all to act within universities with principles of ethics of care: thank you!!
Really interesting presentation about living labs as governance experiment in urban-rural synergies within a circular economy by Keech @CCRI_UK from the ROBUST project @RuralUrbanEU@Ngm2019@CRS_KAU
A beautiful and thought-provoking session on human emotional entanglements and co-becomings with trees @Ngm2019 with @DrJennyA, @PhillipsCate and others. Looking forward to part 2!
Thanks for a nice conference @Ngm2019 Many insights from sessions on rural areas, peripheries, nat resources, gentrification, land/sea grabbing and dispossession via stealth. And Trondheim, you’re quite the sunny charmer, aren’t you!? 🤓😎
Those of us not present in Trondheim seem to have missed many things. If you have not started following @Ngm2019 this the moment to browse their tweets and catch upp what just happened in Trondheim. Where is NGM2021?
