Took a little field trip outside to make observations about “Things in the Sky.” I love how intently they were filling in their circle maps. #wearedegan#rockyourrole#onelisd
This week, I introduced my Kinder friends to the game “Shake, Shake, Shake and Break.” It was an engaging way for us to practice decomposing and composing 10. #rockyourrole#wearedegan#onelisd
Wonder Wagon was at Degan and my Kinder friends loved visiting with Wonder K. Watching my friends be actively engaged in taking on STEM challenges is magical! #rockyourrole#wearedegan#oneLISD
My Kinder friends loved working on their directed drawing of a person. Their focus was to create a setting for their person with enough detail and labels it would be easily identifiable. Success💚

After reading Gustavo the Shy Ghost we made our own “Gustavo” ghosts and worked hard to find just the right balance of attraction between our magnets and ghosts in order for them to “fly.” My friends LOVED it! 👻💚
My Kindergarten friends enjoyed investigating with magnets. They loved discovering the magnetic force between magnets and feeling the “push” and “pull” firsthand. #wearedegan#rockyourole#onelisd
Student vs. Teacher Race to 10, comparing numbers while using our 10 frames. Favorite comment of the day: a student spun 2 and another student quickly stated “now we’re tied with Mrs. Griffith, we’re equal!”
Can you tell who won? #rockyourrole#wearedegan#onelisd
