@EvntgPetPeeves Some leopard appaloosas will do that. From what I have gathered, the darker hair is shorter, as it attracts more sun and keeps the body warmer. Idk if that is exactly the reason, but it seems pretty sensible to me.

@KYLEEBeventing Currently both of mine are 30-45 mins away, traffic pending. Before my gelding moved to his current place, he was 3 hours away. I drove down twice a month for visits.

@KiwiiEQ I hate prednisone but the good news is that it works, in short doeses. I have had 3 surgeries because of it, but it's all good now. I have an ostomy and still have some issues but they're not as bad as they were.

@KiwiiEQ I went with flare ups for years before they diagnosed it. They gave me a diagnosis and 12 hours later my bowel ruptured. Hopefully the flares won't last too long. I would get sick for weeks with them, fingers crossed you're not going to suffer that.
