Interesting that Sudan's defense minister choses today to make an official visit to Chad and also that the relations between Deby and Burhan appear to be strengthening, presumably because they share a common enemy in Hemedti.

Whats so lovely about these protests is the prominence of the Sudanese🇸🇩 flag. In a country where the military=state, protests against the military are viewed by the military as treasonous and unpatriotic. When the military fires on people, they see it as in defense of the state.
