EXCLUSIVE: FX has given a series order to its untitled ‘Snowfall’ spinoff, which stars the original series’ cast members Gail Bean and Isaiah John reprising their roles as Wanda and Leon Simmons, respectively.
It’s slated for premiere next year on FX and Hulu.
Written and executive produced by Malcolm Spellman, the spinoff is set in ‘90s Los Angeles soon after the end of the original series. It revolves around a recovering addict who strives to take West Coast rap mainstream.
