This is the first long-form piece I've written in a year:
Why this topic? Because, for starters, 250,000 girls were raped. Unimaginable and appalling though that is—the reality is much worse:
Police DO NOT prevent crime; they respond to it. Crime is prevented by higher wages, guaranteed health care, food security, high-quality child care, housing, good schools, and addiction treatment.
@SnobbyScheffler You don't own golf stfu, upto the clubs to manage bad behaviour and bad behaviour has always existed whether new golfer or lifelong players.
I love golf. I want everyone to play and I’m excited about all the new people getting into the game. I feel that should be the attitude everyone should have if you truly love the game.
I’m so tired of hearing “shrink” and hating on this new culture of golf fans. This condescending and belittling behavior of new golfers is gross to me. You’re not better than someone else or morally superior because you’ve played longer. Golf doesn’t need to be stuffy and exclusive to preserve what we all love about the game so much. It’s about community.
Part of the growth is educating and helping new players learn. Stop gatekeeping golf
@MarcoFoster_@ZohranKMamdani@jonstewart@weeklyshowpod These are no socialist democratic principles, these are public goods funded by success of capitalism. The libraries will be empty if writers do not have an incentive to write and the library do not have funds to purchase books, pay rent and pay staff. Fire departments aren't free
The findings from Bayswater Support Group’s 2026 parent survey should concern anyone who believes parents should be involved in major decisions about their children’s lives.
• 67% of parents said their child’s social transition was facilitated in school.
• 11% said they were referred to social services over their child’s gender identity—including for not affirming.
• 28% said a medical professional encouraged medical transition against their wishes.
Referring families to social services because they are approaching a child’s distress with caution is coercion. Parents should be free to seek careful, exploratory support without fear that questioning one pathway could trigger state intervention.
The complaint from the Westmead Toxicology Department and the complaint from John Smith were submitted through the AHPRA portal on the same day, just hours apart. Those two complaints later expanded into six complaints, all generated by the HCCC. There were no patient complainants. Despite having an unblemished professional record spanning almost 30 years, the HCCC is seeking to cancel my registration for 3–5 years and have me pay the costs of the proceedings.
🚨 Confronting the Co-Sponsors of the Stop Nick Shirley Act:
Under bill AB 2624, this video would be illegal. All an “immigration support service provider” would need to do is give you a paper saying you cannot post the video, and you would face a minimum $4,000 fine plus court costs and attorney fees.
CHIRLA the co-sponsor of this bill, has received over $80,000,000 in taxpayer dollars to help illegal immigrants. It does not allow public entry into its building and is rumored to be tied to the cartels.
When I tried to speak with a employee, they all fled and closed the building. What do they have to hide while using taxpayer funds to operate?
This is why they need this bill to pass so they can shield the public from looking into California’s corruption.
EXPOSE IT ALL.
Sweden's @AgnesWold asks the question more countries should be asking: why are we still conducting an experiment on vulnerable young people when the evidence is so weak?
Children deserve careful care, not irreversible interventions.
