We surpassed 350,000 verified signatures yesterday calling on Sony to green-light the development of Destiny 3.
Our goal is to add 10,000 verified signatures each day from June 5th through June 9th, which would bring us to 400,000 verified signatures by the end of June 9th.
Current battle plan:
• Sign and share the petition.
• Use #WeWantDestiny3 and Destiny 3 emotes during Summer Game Fest on June 5th at 5:00 PM ET.
• Use #WeWantDestiny3 and Destiny 3 emotes during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7th at 1:00 PM ET. June 7th is also Lance Reddick's birthday.
• Reply to PlayStation and Sony posts with Destiny 3 artwork, screenshots, videos, and hashtags.
• Contact gaming news outlets, journalists, YouTubers, streamers, podcasts, and websites respectfully.
• Make the petition visible everywhere. Add links, signature counters, chat timers, and QR codes to streams, social media bios, and Discord servers.
• RSVP to both Facebook events and invite others.
• Create clan recruitment posts and help new or returning players find groups.
• Share Llama's beginner guide from a couple of weeks ago with anyone interested in trying Destiny 2.
• Log in on June 9th and beyond. A strong player count sends a clear message.
• Encourage former Destiny players to return, even if only for a few hours.
• Keep discussions positive and focused.
Guardians make their own fate.
@RSButner The thing that is a bit confusing to me is that the field has had 70 years to come up with a way to deceive the capability growth we are observing but instead clings to the edge of the cliff insisting that what we are finding useful isn’t possible.
@RSButner The algorithms probably need to be fed and watered on a regular basis to keep up with evolving content and user behavior. Probably will be seeing more model as time goes on.
@RSButner Trying to put your content behind a paywall so humanity doesn’t absorb it into its collective hive mind ignores that fact that massive scale data mining is just how things are done today…and probably won’t be necessary in 5 years.
Congratulations to the 2022 Microsoft Research Ph.D. Fellows! The fellowship recipient in the area of Economics and Computational Social Science this year is Lucius E.J. Bynum of NYU. Congrats, Lucius!

@KristinaLerman Very interesting and convincing argument. Are there any environmental factors (eg chemicals and pollutants) that selective effect girls over boys?
Showcase your research at @EMSLScience 2022 Integration meeting!
