Approached by big pharma because of my domain (medicine) and PowerBI and analytics (not even Python nor SQL for this) as value exchange - enticed, but hello bond 🫡

In this context, like I said before, you don't need to search for data roles. There is increasing interest for analysts / execs with analytical skilset. Open the job description and read between the lines.

Q2 of 2024 has just started. It's time to take action! If one door closed, open another door - both local abroad!

Just my two cents. Kebanyakkan negara kalau ada option mereka memang nak keluar dari sistem fiat. Especially negara yang da rosak dengan hyperinflation.

Ada pandangan bahawa hyperinflation disebabkan oleh wang fiat. Tapi saya tak setuju. Penyebab hyperinflation ialah salah urus kewangan. Monetari polisi tak boleh baiki hyperinflasi. Ia adalah penyakit kronik. Monetari polisi boleh baiki siatem fiat selagi inflasi itu tak kronik.

Akan tetapi sistem kewangan perlukan ekosistem. Maknanya, kalau satu dua negara nak keluar, ia takkan boleh jadi kenyataan. Ia perlukan satu gabungan dan kerjasama kuat melalui persafahaman antarabangsa, yang kita tahu memang susah nak dicapai.

Dulu ada cadangan nak guna dinar emas. Tapi ia pun tak boleh jadi sebab tak dapat kerjasama dari negara yg berdagang dengan Malaysia. Even negara Islam pun lebih prefer guna USD, yang kita tahu kenapa sistem petrodollar boleh kuat.

Sistem fiat wujud banyak sebab. Tapi antara sebabnya ialah sebab manusia ada sifat tamak. Sifat tamak ni membuatkan kita berbelanja lebih dari apa yang kita ada.Sistem fiat membenarkan perkara ini berlaku.

Untuk keluar dari sistem ini tak boleh dibuat secara silo. Sebab apa jua sistem matawang (termasuk dinar dan apa juga matawang yang disandar kepada real value) perlukan demand and supply. Kita nak buat, tapi rakan dagang kita tak nak pun takkan boleh berjaya.

There is a lot happening with Microsoft Fabric.

My initial plan was to share about Microsoft Fabric - dah plan with @MHarizSharif on this - and why you as individuals (esp newcomers, learners, C-suite, also Python, SQL or R users) should leverage it.

You start by learning PowerBI, then explore data engineering, data science and the others within one single place.

Microsoft is introducing Fabric as OneDrive for data (pic 1 and 2) - called OneLake.

A place where you store your data - similar experience like the OneDrive.

But as Microsoft Fabric got so many updates for the past few weeks - need to reread and consolidate before sharing!

So rather than sharing specifically on Microsoft Fabric, I am sharing on how you can develop data acumen beyond PowerBI leveraging Microsoft Fabric and other materials. Contents will be shared upon vote completion. Stay tuned
