Why, on so many issues, are we having to fight not just for improvements but to maintain the status quo.

To be honest, we were all expecting the NHS Workforce Plan to be a mess.
What we're waiting for now is whether Labour will call out the erosion in clinical standards and safety, or whether both parties are complicit in the decline of the NHS
