The NHS E Redesign process feels chaotic and haphazard.
For an organisation that is very proud of how consultations are managed, if this is the best example of a consultation, I would hate to see the worst example of one.
A few years ago, my friend bought me a travel mug (pictured)
Every day I go to the office, I bring it with me because it keeps my coffee hot nearly all day which is excellent for me as I always forget about my hot drinks (till they’re tepid or even worse cold!!)
I usually visit the @CostaCoffee in Waterloo Station. The baristas are always so friendly but one in particular uses my travel mug to start a chain of happiness!
As they make my coffee, they tell all of their Costa colleagues that they’re awesome as a reminder.
Sad news about Len Goodman.
Whenever I fill in spreadsheets with the number 7, I always say it in my head like he said it on Strictly. Continues to give me a good chuckle.
Supported my favourite Junior Doctor @clarryhj this week by sneaking into her flat and cooking for her.
Many thanks to her hubby for helping me arrange this!
We had a long and very overdue catch up on life, the NHS and the #JuniorDoctorsStrike.
@SossehChristina Thank you, Christina!
It’s difficult to match our schedules up so I have to go all out when I get the chance ☺️
I hope you have a lovely day!
And for anyone curious about the meal, it was more like a feast! 🤣
- improv vegan coconut curry w/ sweet potato, aubergine & spinach
- a rich butter chicken
- flatbreads
- onion bhajis
- mango chutney
- cucumber raita
- coriander rice
All from scratch!
Whilst I won’t sneak in and cook for all Junior Doctors, please know you all have my full support 💖
I love the NHS and I want it to love it’s trained medical professionals and young professionals just as much.
Thank you @BurrellHealth for being such an engaging, thoughtful facilitator. It sets such a rich tone to the days and entire series, and encourages better use of the tools and approaches. Much appreciated.
@keikotoma As always, you are SO welcome!! 💖💖 Thank you for bringing your whole self to these training days. Your input and insight has been incredibly valuable.
So far, we’ve covered:
🛒 Understanding queues and how they form (hence my shopping cart emoji 😉)
🛒 The 8 common reactions to dealing with queues (general pressure, waiting list initiatives, high utilisationC forced booking, churn, ignoring variation, carve out & batch demand)
