some recent snippets we cooked 🍳
remember that 20-hour test? yeah… we won it lol
i love to show stb like this way.
can’t wait to show you guys the final delivery, how we landed the client this big. Full case study soon
i think "good enough" is the problem here. brands that care about how people see them never settle for good enough on their own wall. this one doesn't lift the brand yet, it kinda pulls it down a bit
i use an iphone SE. the 2016 one.
everyone’s talking about the iphone duo now, and honestly… i don’t really feel the need.
i’ve been thinking about this with AI too. there’s so much hype in our industry right now.
new tools every week. and i use some of them, they help actually.
but when i look at the work my team and i make, the part that matters most is still the Motion Principle, timing, pacing.
-we totally know when something should move, when it needs to wait, and how long to let a moment breathe so the audience has space to take it in.
that’s what makes people feel the story and i don’t think a tool can feel that for you.
my old phone still works fine for what i need. maybe it’s the same with AI. use it, sure.
but the taste… that part is still ours. Real proof is coming 😉
i don’t care how studios are out there.
i’d bet on my team every single time.
people always told me: “don’t get too close to your team. keep it professional.”
honestly, worst advice i’ve ever heard.
the best work we made didn’t come from rules or process.
it came from people who actually care about each other.
people who stay late without being asked.
who say “this frame is bad” and don’t feel scared to say it.
who know when you’re tired, and just take the next task.
you can’t get that from a contract. you get it from being close.
yes, it’s harder. feelings get involved. but i’d rather have a team that fights for the work than a team that just finishes it.
we’re small. we’re not perfect. but i know who i’m building with.
Still figuring it out together.
Enjoy the white noise!
thanks Mark. Great product, i will give it a try when i have the best time for it. Thanks again for your invitation, i will dm you first if i could join
This video is totally going to hurt their market standing. It’s just so hard to wrap my head around why they keep posting stuff like "one prompt and..."

april this year we started repositioning.
after a decade making thousands of mobile game ads.
not because we lost. we’re still long-term partners with the #1 mobile game company in the world.
we just wanted to go deeper into the craft we’re best at.
thousands of videos taught us what makes one win. now we use that for something we love more.
10 years in motion. still in love with it.
that’s the flow.
AI slop is about to flood YouTube and social media, making content hyper-polished yet soul-crushing.
We'll be hypnotized by endless, hyper-perfect feeds, losing that authentic shared experience of watching shows together.
It's coming like a flash flood, not a gentle stream.
Time to learn how to swim.
Great points as always @hlibtrazanov
Opus 5.5 videos are EVERYWHERE.
As a motion studio owner, I'm both excited and scared.
7 months ago I made a prediction:
"I think we have around 1 year until “average working hands” are replaced.
1. SaaS niche will continue to grow. Thanks to vibecoding and AI in general.
2. Startups will be out of market for motion graphics needs. They will do it themselves with AI.
3. Only mid size companies (50-200 employees) or enterprises (1000+) will continue to work with specialized studios like us, for some time. They are ready to pay extra for the best brand image.
4. 3D motion design is gonna be “cool” again. Seeing how trends are coming back from flat 2D to volumetric 3D (glass, etc) - those who master 3D will be more in demand than ever.
5. Just “making videos” will be a commodity, even more than now.
6. If everyone is able to make good-looking videos with AI, it won’t be “cool” anymore, just a new baseline. But some will always be better than everyone else. The most creative, the smartest, the deapest. I wanna be one of them. It’ll be the first way we can stand out.
7. The second way to stand out is OWNING the strategic part: knowing which videos to create in the first place, in which order to show them to viewers, how to apply them in the funnel, how to A/B test, track performance, etc. If you’re expert in that, you’ll be 100x more valuable than those who “just make videos”.

I still stand by my prediction.
Nothing's changed (except now we're 7 months closer to it).
I only want to remind you that websites have already gone this path.
Super custom code in 1990s -> commoditized in 2000s -> templates/Wordpress in 2010s -> AI websites in 2020s.
Technically anyone can now build a website for $50.
But still there are companies paying $20k - $100k for a website even today (and these studios are fully booked for a year). Because they sell their unique TASTE, their STYLE.
I think the same will happen to videos too.
Right now AI videos only staaaart to look "watchable".
I think we need another year for it to start look ACTUALLY GOOD.
But I just can't imagine Amazon, IBM or any other respected company using a wordpress template for their website.
And the midmarket?
I think there will be a lot of "vibe-motioners". Even great studios will start to use AI to make more videos for their clients, faster and cheaper (and it'll look much better than clients trying to make videos on their own).
So, we'll still have a ton of work!!
It'll be just different from "moving keyframes in After Effects".
