Ten years as Mayor of the greatest city in the world.
Through huge challenges and unforgettable moments, it's the honour of my life to serve London - a city that gave the son of a bus driver from a council estate every opportunity.

Horrified by the attack on the mosque in San Diego.
We live in times of deep political tension. Islamophobic hatred and violence are a reminder of the responsibility on all of us.
We need leadership that brings people together, and stands firmly against hatred in all its forms.
BREAKING: The Muslim prayer room of Cafe Raha in Blackburn was fire bombed today, but thankfully, there was no synagogue nearby, so we're not bothering with a Cobra meeting x
This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape. Here's a gift link to the article: https://t.co/aMMHId49OO
“When my Jewish grandmother told me about the Holocaust, she told me never again.”
A Jewish student interrupted an Israeli soldier’s speech at Rutgers University in the US and condemned Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.
I've been to 12 countries. Pakistan is still my favorite.
Polluted air. Got sick. Couldn't handle the food. Didn't matter.
The people made it the greatest place on earth.
My latest for the Washington Post on Imran Khan. The legendary cricketer and politician Pakistan can jail, censor but never erase. @PostOpinions

Sons of Imran Khan, Sulaiman and Kasim Khan, have taken their father's justice fight to the UN. In a strong appeal to the international community, they highlighted grave human rights violations and reported physical mistreatment in arbitrary detention.
The world cannot stay silent as a global leader and voice of millions faces such injustice. They demand an immediate end to the isolation and mistreatment of the world's most popular leader.

"Prisoner number 804: the plot to erase Imran Khan
It’s one thing to remove a PM from office, as happened to the former cricketer in 2022. But it’s another thing to try to eradicate the most famous person in Pakistan’s history"
