Today my ex husband is getting married.

I offered to help with my daughter’s hair and make-up, to alleviate any stress and not put that on his fiancée.

He accepted and when I went to help today, I said “happy wedding day” to him … and I meant it. ❤️

My kid has been choosing whether I have an iced or hot coffee every morning for the last few weeks. He takes it really seriously. He stares at me for a solid minute, and something about that assessment informs him on which one I should have. He watches me after I take the first sip and says, “Right choice?” And? It is. Every time. I can’t remember how this started, but I’m going to miss it when he goes back to school.
