The mountains of Lecale. My personal hot take is that the yellow and back lichens of the area inspired the unique colour scheme of St John’s Point lighthouse. (A light house famously painted by a work-shy Brendan Behan in the 1950s!) #lecale #stjohnspoint #stjohnspointlighthouse

It feels like an appropriate day to post this, just as the volcano at Fagradalsfjall is kicking off again. Some incredibly vivid colours at the edge of the lava field created by the 2021 eruption. A stark contrast to the black crust of basalt all around. #Iceland
