Today during Mass a cell phone went off 4 or 5 times, being allowed to run its full course (so clearly an old person). The last time, after communion, the organist immediately launched into a lengthy improvisation on the ringtone melody.
@FishEaters I often have suicidal thoughts over stuff like this. Especially since I’ve acted in ways which have enabled it. If God was just, I’d be on the end of a noose this morning. Please pray.

We already have National Insurance numbers (and most of us have driving licences and Passports), I can’t see any benefit to a “Digital ID” card… but I can see potential drawbacks as to how it could be used in the future. So I have signed.
