Small design choice in GhostRank I like:
Starting a scan returns instantly. It runs in the background while the frontend checks its status every few seconds.
No waiting on a loading screen.
Users shouldn’t wait for work they don’t need to watch.

@BuiltBySystems Yes, already doing that part. Scans move through pending, running, completed or failed, and the UI shows each state.
The backoff is a good call though. Polling is fixed at 3 seconds right now. Adding that.
Started planning my portfolio.
Not a list of projects. Each one gets a real case study: the problem, the decisions, what broke, what I’d change.
Spending a few days planning before writing any code.
Building products is one skill. Showing them well is another.

Writing code from scratch taught me everything. I wouldn’t skip that phase.
But now I spend more time on architecture and decisions than typing syntax.
AI handles the writing. I handle the why.
Both skills matter. The order matters more.

Been emailing back and forth with Google’s team all week on OAuth verification.
Terms, conditions, user data safety — every detail matters before they approve.
Nobody posts about this part. But it’s what separates side projects from production apps.

Added the support guide. Polished the last details. Now waiting for client confirmation and launch date.
The building part is done. The shipping part is next.
Soon I’ll show what I’ve been working on for months.
