@MuttubusDoll@twinkSlayer16 i do understand this and i do not think it is simple at all, my point was that its easy to feed into it and make it worse in a general sense, yours and everybody's own situation and reasons are very specific and obviously i know it is more nuanced than "just do something"
@CountessLili@thebestlandord@twinkSlayer16 i agree, and its easy to get frustrated when you KNOW that it is entirely up to you and what actions you take next to actually go anywhere
@CountessLili@thebestlandord@twinkSlayer16 its easy to sound insensitive when saying this, and how i worded my point especially can be very easily misconstrued as a shitty generalization of executive dysfunction, but more times than not, even just scribbling whatever can help get things going
@DMAFTMPersonal@twinkSlayer16 that sounds very interesting, but it also seems very overwhelming, i dont really know what youre talking about so i cant offer my take, but maybe having smaller and easier to follow projects could help you stick to something
@DMAFTMPersonal@twinkSlayer16 are, but i have felt similarly to you, setting short timers for work with no distractions, with specific goals in mind and taking timed breaks really helps me get small tasks finished at a good pace, i think its called something like the pomodoro technique, i hope it can help you
@DMAFTMPersonal@twinkSlayer16 for me personally that is how it works, i still get executive dysfunction and procrastinate regularly, however, there are alot of things you can do to make it less exhausting for yourself, or to atleast be able to say you made an effort. I dont know exactly what your obstacles -
@Yazorock@thebestlandord@twinkSlayer16 i do understand as i get executive dysfunction, there are many things you can do to make it worse for yourself and there and many things you can do to make starting tasks easier or to take less energy, i am actually projecting in my previous tweets as that's an excuse i'd use.
@thebestlandord@twinkSlayer16 i know how executive dysfunction works, im saying its easy to fall into enabling it by placing that mental barrier of not being in a perfect state of mind
