@Burrsquets I believe that, without #selfishness, #money, #lobbyism, #war, cultural and political discrepancies, ..., we would be much further in any kind of #science. We are limiting ourselves everywhere everytime. #Regulation comes from fear which is a result of all of this. #staycurious
Q4: Any company that sells anything benefits. Smaller companies can probably buy that data from bigger companies to make their products more expensive. So, everyone is happy! Except for these pesky data privacy people and the customers who have to pay more. 😁#saschat#thickdata
Q3: Text analytics is what we've done in the past. There is so much non-text data that we haven't yet really tapped into analyzing exhaustingly. #saschat#thickdata
Q2/1: For me it's like this: You build customer segments based on a network graph describing how the customers behave and/or react. Then you identify the nodes you can interfere with that graph without embarrassing the customer and "BAM! Sales from numbers!" #saschat#thickdata
Q1: Had to read it up. So, looks like it's just a friendly name for user data collected by trackers and malware but now not only based on technical facts but including interpretion of human emotions. #saschat#thickdata
@punirajah bias is nothing that improves. Whatever you create, it is always based on what/who you are, same with data. With #analytics you will then always find what you wanted to find. Only real data can lead to real #insights, imho. #saschat#opendata
Q5: Never trust #syntheticdata. It is incredibly hard to generate data that feels like real data and it will always be biased by its creator, be it an #AI or a human being. #saschat#opendata
