I could have validated my acoustic bird classifiers with data from the internet.
Instead, I drove 60 minutes to Yanacocha Reserve and recorded actual birds.

This is why I moved back to Ecuador to work on conservation.

building a river flow simulation tool that allows you to see the impact of things like pollution, mining, and oil spills.

WIP, but you can already adjust sources and watch contamination spread through the network.
