@chasmmmmmmmmmmm First mistake was using Reddit.

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

I've been working on a recompile of Battlefield 3.

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@ShazXcode most room temperature take i've seen today

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@JoelAbenhaim The "better" or "best" language has never mattered. It's always first-movers. Otherwise, we wouldn't be using JavaScript for fucking everything.

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@TrisH0x2A AI will be a wrapper for most technologies. Conceptual understanding and strong fundamentals will be the currency, so get comfy

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@JeenaKrish91074 Good riddance, React.

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@komal_uk01 you'll hit the silicon ceiling pretty quick. if you don't know the fundamentals, you are inherently limited in the ideas you can express. in code or otherwise.

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

wow #MyXAnniversary

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@kepano would it be possible to adjust daily notes core plugin so that Previous Note hotkey works from anywhere?

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@HaruhiismOtaku Linux is great, but sucks in a lot of areas. Windows also sucks, but can do everything.

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@HaruhiismOtaku try talon from project raven. fresh install of windows 11, permanently removes all the crap, bloat and overhead. runs much better.

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@cgtwts lets see how it handles half a century of codebases and see what she comes up with then

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@thekitze my brother in christ, this is just a tailscale node as a vpn gateway with (presumably) advertized subnet routing

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@xdadevelopers never was, Mint is crap

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@DorianDevelops Bro just use cloud GPU from Ollama. Ru any model for cheap.

[Flork @FlorkOfCows]

so i think I figured out the wifi fix in bazzite

the solution was just switching to cachyOS

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@GrosuMishu67813 @bayeslord Yeah I don't have tens of thousands of dollars to spend on GPUs. The only egress traffic to WAN is for cloud GPU requests. Stop gatekeeping.

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

Assuming you're not a millionaire, you can't self-host AI inference that competes with commercial/big AI. Use cloud based GPUs.

[dustin4d @nice_cx]

@TheAhmadOsman Installation and ease of use matters.
