- Antibiotics resistance explained like a 5 year old.
Antibiotics are drugs that are meant to kill bacteria.
Meaning , once you take them , it goes to the bacteria, launches a bomb and terminates it.
When you don't have an illness or bacteria causing disease and you take it.
This is what happens, the bacteria stays in your system, it starts to watch your antibiotics, knowing it wants to kill.
The bacteria calls a community meeting, they devise strategy to make your drug useless.
They get bulletproof and Armour tanks to prevent the drugs from touching them.
Some of the bacteria even go and buy pump, so once you take the antibiotics , rather than it killing them, they just pump the drug out without it touching them. Useless drug.
Some of the demonic bacteria even develop enzymes and chemicals, once you take the drug, rather than the drugs destroy them, the bacteria destroy the antibiotics
So the end point, the antibiotics become useless.
When you fall sick and really need the antibiotics. Your body has gangster bacteria that antibiotics cannot kill.
NOW THAT IS ANTIBIOTICS RESISTANCE.
PS- Before you laugh. All of you that treat Malaria and Typhoid every month.
You are on this table.
If you all noticed yesterday, i was not really online. I blacked out during a surgery yesterday. I was lucky that the assistant surgeon was a very capable hand to continue and complete the surgery. I recovered early hours of this morning.
I hadn't had sleep for 6 weeks. In Nigeria, one Doctor does the work of 50 Doctors and this is not an exaggeration. The government knows about this but simply DOESN'T CARE. Life means nothing to them. Only money and power retention is important.
Our colleagues are also a very big part of the problem. Shame on our Medical elders generally. Shame on the government.
Who else has felt this since yesterday? The World Cup suddenly feels different. The excitement has dropped and it almost feels like the tournament is already over. I can’t even explain why, but the buzz just isn’t there anymore. Maybe because it’s too long.
🚨📸 | Javier Hernández sends a message to Cristiano Ronaldo on Instagram:
“I don’t hold on to this match or even this World Cup.
“I hold on to the player who changed the history of his national team, who led Portugal to achieve what had seemed impossible for so many years, and who inspired an entire generation to believe that there are no limits.
“Thank you for the example. Thank you for everything, Cristiano Ronaldo ❤️🇵🇹🫡”
If World Cup makes you the GOAT, we’d rate Mbappe over Messi, but it doesn’t. Ronaldo has written his name up there as the greatest and nothing can erase it. At this point, he has nothing to prove.
The greatest there was, is, and will ever be. Thanks for blessing our screens.❤️
Looking at everything happening in FIFA, I respect Ronaldo even more. If football was an individual sport, he would have won more than 5 World Cups.
No player in football history will ever take Cristiano Ronaldo’s number one spot.
We wait to celebrate goal 1,000.
