@2waytvapp@KenPaxtonTX@MarkHalperin I’m a Texan Republican, voted for Ken when it came down to just him and Cornyn. I don’t regret my vote, Cornyn needed to go. But I’m incensed at how nonchalant Ken is taking this race. Abbott is an excellent governor and Paxton is deciding to let Abbott fight this one for him.
@IAPolls2022@TXSOTigers As a Texan, these numbers seem accurate. Paxton has been a mostly invisible candidate, since locking up the primary. I would expect once football season gets underway, the airwaves will be filled with Talaricos own words, telling voters what he truly believes.
@realMaalouf@mrddmia This is why we have the 2nd Amendment here in America. Sometimes your very government wants you to be attacked, wants you to feel pain. Spain is going through it today.
@mrddmia Agreed. The woman who shot her dog in the gravel pit and has a weird husband was much better at this job than Mullin is. Or put Stephen Millier in charge!
@JesseKellyDC@bofrench@SecMullinDHS had his first real test in this position and he failed. Shows weakness and this “temporary” pause will be made every time he feels the heat. There’s an easy way to guarantee no illegal immigrant dies or gets hurt in any police action… just leave the country.
@TheCalvinCooli1 How long did it take in the boardroom for someone to think of this one. Smaller sizes, same prices, bc of GLP-1’s and the Strait of Hormuz. Watch and see! lol, props to Pepsi on this one.
@David_Khait@EWErickson She needs help. I don’t agree with her at all. But she clearly is going through something and I do believe it’s mental health related. I hope she gets the help she needs. She’s a mother and a wife. She needs help. I hope she finds it.
@stvbln @AGHamilton29 I think we would have done that, if we believed we could do that in any reasonable amount of time/ cost. Our “allies” in the region don’t seem willing to absorb the cost of not being able to get their oil/ materials out. Voters in America also seem not to be willing to absorb it.
@AGHamilton29 OR, look at the situation as it currently stands. America (economy and voters) need the straight to be open, in order to at least get those ships out of there. If we need Israel to stop bombing Lebanon to achieve that, i think it’s a good trade off.
@AGHamilton29 Depends on what we think is actually possible to achieve and what our overall goal is. If it’s to destroy the IRGC, then stop all discussions and declare all out war. Don’t worry about the costs or deaths on either side. Prepare to be obliterated in the midterms.
@TheCalvinCooli1 It all began with Sanders being robbed of the Democratic nomination in 2016, then again in 2020, then it was Biden and Swalwell forced to drop out. Collins was going to win anyway and she will still win. She’s far from being a Trump Republican in a difficult midterm for such ppl.
@BreannaMorello I fully support the SAVE America Act. But holding up the smart/ bipartisan housing legislation was a stupid political move. Terrible optics. You look for alternatives to capitalism when capitalism has failed you personally. This November doesn’t feel like it’s going to go well.
@nicksortor@BreannaMorello I’m not sure Stephen Miller would get through the senate. We can’t get 50 Republicans to vote for voter ID. Stephen Miller would be a tougher vote than freakin’ VOTER ID. But he would be great.
