The left says they care about the environment as they work overtime to end Alaskan development, but the truth is that they are driving working families out of Alaska to turn our state blue. Thank you to @RealAmVoice for the chance to speak to America about this critical issue!
The Fed has no choice. If rates are not cut we get a financial crisis. There is too much government debt!
We now live in an era of Fiscal Dominance.
The term "fiscal dominance" refers to a situation in which the government's fiscal policy (Deficits of 6% and Debt to GDP at WWII levels) significantly influences or dominates the monetary policy set by the central bank.
This occurs when a government's debt level is so high that it restricts the central bank's ability to control inflation through monetary policy tools, such as setting interest rates.
If rates don’t come down, and the value of the USD does not come down then there is a very high will probability that the US will experience a failed bond auction.
Sorry folks there is no other alternative.
@shivon If you reuse the truss steel that fell, it could be functioning in 3 to 6 months.
The repair should be put to commercial bid with a massive incentive for early and safe completion.
There are 3 places we end up:
1) Steer our government away from economic collapse.
2) Economic collapse, and then:
a. renaissance,
b. totalitarianism, or
c. national divorce
3) Slow devolution into Chinese style communism and central control. No one remembers freedom.
There’s a real possibility that after TikTok is divested to new owners, the platform continues to work *exactly* as it does today, yet we’ve vastly expanded federal power to punish disfavored actors in the future. Here’s a solution: the Senate should propose a competing bill that bans *any* tech company from transferring U.S. user data to any government & require timely public disclosure of any government demands to moderate, amplify, or suppress user-generated content. This is the way.
This is an amazing number to watch in the next few years. Individual income taxes are about 1/2 of the govt revenue.
For February, the US govt collected $120 billion from individual income taxes. They had to spend $76 billion in February to pay interest on the nation debt.
We are not that far off from a day when 100% of individual income taxes are going to be required to pay for interest on the debt.
According to the Govt., U.S. #GDP "grew" by $334 billion In Q4. Yet during that same quarter the #NationalDebt rose by over $834 billion, or 2.5x as much. That doesn't even count the growth in debt that consumers took on directly. This isn't economic growth. It's a credit bubble.
When #Bitcoin’s market price was low, they wrote literally thousands of articles about our supposed losses.
Now that #Bitcoin’s market price is way up, if we were to sell, we would make a profit of over 40% (just from the market purchases), and our main source of BTC is now our citizenship program.
We won’t sell, or course; at the end 1 BTC = 1 BTC (this was true when the market price was low and it’s true now); but it’s very telling that the authors of those hit pieces, the “analysts”, the “experts”, the “journalists”, are totally silent now.
Remember this, next time they spill lies again about El Salvador.
Let me get this straight. Sophisticated big banks decided to loan #Trump money, were repaid in full with interest, never complained, and now Trump was fined $365 million because some judge claims Trump obtained those loans based on fraud. The real fraud is NY's kangaroo court.
I like Kevin, but come on, man, have some self-awareness.
The fruits of this generation in American leadership is: quagmire in Afghanistan, war in Iraq under false pretenses, declining life expectancy, and demographic collapse in the West. This moment calls out for many things, but boomer neoconservatism is not among them.
They call it a “border bill,” yet less than 20% is allocated to our border & there’s more money allocated to protecting Ukraine’s border than our own. Typical swamp protocol.
