And yes.... correcting for population density/urbanization would be a good idea.

@SmPotatoes Look at the participation numbers. Only 1% of kids in North Dakota take the SAT. If you're in North Dakota, you're only going to take the SAT if you're super smart and know you will do well. Hence North Dakota SAT takes look smarter than everyone else.
