The images and testimony in this report are a damning indictment of police brutality and abuse of power.

A police service that turns batons, boots and violence against unarmed citizens betrays its constitutional mandate. Law enforcement exists to protect the public, not to punish dissent or inflict fear.

Every assault on a civilian is an assault on the rule of law. Every abuse of authority corrodes public trust and undermines the legitimacy of the institutions meant to serve the people.

Those responsible must be individually identified, investigated, prosecuted where the evidence supports it, and held fully accountable. No badge places an officer above the law. No uniform erases personal responsibility.
