The funniest part of the “LeBron dominated his era” argument is that Steph Curry existed.

Same number of championships.

Beat LeBron 3 times in the Finals.

Won all 4 with one franchise.

Built an actual dynasty.

Changed the way basketball is played.

And yes, before the predictable response arrives: Steph has only one Finals MVP.

So what?

That means LeBron has more Finals MVPs. It does not magically erase Curry’s four championships, his 3–1 Finals record against LeBron, the Warriors dynasty, or his transformational impact on basketball.

In fact, if your argument for “era dominance” requires explaining away the guy who matched your championships and beat you three times on the biggest stage, your definition of dominance is already doing a lot of work.

And one of LeBron’s four titles still came inside a sealed Disney bubble with no travel, no crowds, and no traditional home-court environment.

So spare me the mythology about LeBron “owning” an era. "Greatness" and "Dominance" are not the same thing.

If another superstar matched your championships, repeatedly beat you in the Finals, built the dynasty you never did, and transformed the sport during your supposed reign, maybe you didn’t dominate the era.

Maybe you just played in it.
